“If you are a business owner, property owner or work in the Downtown Moncton Business Improvement Area and are interested in being considered for a position on the Board, please submit your name, resumé and a cover letter explaining why you would like to serve on the DMCI Board of Directors, no later than April 12.” DMCI said in a news release. Downtown Moncton Centre-Ville is an independent, non-profit organization funded by the commercial building and property owners located in the Business Improvement Area. The organization has a mission to represent business owners and promote culture in the downtown area.

It also supports events and festivals that promote and benefit downtown businesses. Last year, DMCI organized new events including Moncton’s first-ever International Busker Festival, and street art festival. Both events drew large crowds to the downtown.
