Unlucky Leduc awaits surgery
Published Thursday October 9th, 2008

Sea Dogs forward Alexandre Leduc will have to wait a little longer before getting surgery on his injured left knee.
Leduc, 19, was set to have his torn anterior cruciate ligament repaired Wednesday. But team doctor Neil Manson decided he needs another two weeks to allow his medial collateral ligament to heal before proceeding with the ACL surgery.
Leduc, who injured the knee jogging just before training camp, likely won't be able to test the knee on the ice until early January.
