Man charged with impaired after three people injured in side-by-side crash

Three people still in hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries, police say

One person has been charged with riding impaired after three people were sent to hospital following a side-by-side crash in Woodstock.

The Woodstock Police Force said it happened on Carleton Street at about 12:30 a.m. Friday.

In a news release, police said the driver – a 21-year-old man they didn’t name – faces charges of impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing bodily harm, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, and refusing to provide a breath sample.

Police say the three passengers remain in hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
