Volunteers needed for Meals on Wheels

The Meals on Wheels program being offered by the Village Nursing Home in Campbellton is looking for more volunteers.
CEO Wayne McWilliams said it functions by way of 60 volunteers delivering 250 meals a week, with two employees who run the operation, but it’s in need of more help.
Meals on Wheels delivers meals to seniors, people with disabilities and to those who are house-bound or even people who have difficulty preparing their own meals due to health or physical challenges.
Applications go through the Department of Social Development at 1-833-733-7835, by calling the Village Nursing Home at 506-789-7359 or through email at meals.wheels@cnhome.org.
Those wishing to volunteer either for the program, or at the nursing home in general, can also call the main office.
