Impaired driving

On Tuesday, July 21, shortly before 10 p.m., an officer from the Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police conducted a traffic stop at Bidwell Street and Washington Grand Avenue in Tillsonburg.

Through police investigation it was determined the male driver of the Ford vehicle was subsequently found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested. His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

Patrick Luce, 28-years-old, of Tillsonburg, is charged with the following: Operate a Motor Vehicle – Over 80 mgs. of alcohol in blood; and Operate a Motor Vehicle – Impaired.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear with a future court date.
